Final Project Visual journalism - Karaoke: dying trend or thriving

Karaoke is something a majority of people have done, Will do, or want to do...generally. Is Karaoke dying out though? Personally think not. In many countries such as Japan and China karaoke is a thriving business. A popular of karaoke where you rent a private room for yourself and friends and just have a good time. Well this business model has made its way to Arkansas and I went and gave it a go myself( wife, mom, and friends included). Big Box Karaoke as this particular business is called was a blast to attend
As we walked in it was intimately lit and had multiple staff greet us as we entered immediately a great first impression

What was pretty cool as well wasn’t the the 70,000+ songs available but that you could go to their website pick what songs you wanted and add it to your que
So it made picking your favorite artist or song very easy and very accessible and in my opinion very catering to a younger generation of fun seeking friends
The rooms were spacious and very selfie friendly which once again was something very young folk friendly
So I obliged
The screens were very clear the sound was not to heavy on music over microphone
And their menus were sporting interesting takes on Japanese foods such tots made from kimchi

Over all it was a great experience and something I definitely would love to do again and highly recommend it.
